May 3rd - Not a drill, it's Chainsaw!

It was a great day searching through the Strait of Georgia and the southern gulf islands and seeing one of the most iconic Killer whales in BC! We saw T063 Chainsaw traveling with his mom T065 Whidbey II and T049A2 Jude! These three were traveling north through Trincomali channel towards another group who were out in the Strait!

We were lucky enough to find the T049As ad T049Bs travelling together along the Galiano Island shoreline during this trip! This was a continuation of the small family reunion that has been happening with these two pods over the last couple weeks. Plus it’s always great to see one of our favorite whales: Noah!
