Whale watching is a thrilling and unpredictable adventure that never fails to astonish nature enthusiasts. The awe-inspiring nature of these majestic creatures lies in their elusiveness and enigmatic behaviour. Each trip is filled with anticipation, as one never knows what the ocean holds in store. Whales have a remarkable ability to surprise even the most experienced guides and visitors. They may breach the water's surface majestically one moment, only to disappear beneath the waves the next, leaving spectators eagerly scanning the horizon. This unpredictability only adds to the allure of whale watching, making every excursion a unique and extraordinary experience.
Even on days when we don’t find whales, the biodiversity in the Salish Sea never disappoints. The Salish Sea, located in the coastal region of British Columbia and Washington State, is teeming with an incredible array of marine life beyond just whales. From playful seals to majestic sea lions, this diverse ecosystem is home to a myriad of captivating animals. Harbour seals are commonly spotted, their sleek bodies often seen basking on rocky shores or playfully peeking above the water's surface. Steller sea lions, with their impressive size and distinctive manes, can be found lounging on remote cliffs or energetically diving into the depths. The Salish Sea is truly an enchanting paradise for nature enthusiasts, offering an incredible chance to witness a remarkable variety of captivating animals.
Our tours today go a great glimpse into this biodiversity getting to see Seals, Sea Lions, Cormorants, Bald Eagles, Turkey vultures, and other wildlife during their search for the elusive whales.
