What an orca-full day this turned out to be! The T124A’s and T124C Cooper passed through False Narrows, T049A1 Noah was playing in the Nanaimo harbour, and the rest of the T049A’s (-A2) were travelling with T063 Chainsaw and his mother T065 Whidbey II off of Entrance Island!

It was quite the journey to find the whales today, with our two open boats Cascadia and Keta travelling up to the sunshine coast after their initial search took them south. It was worth it though, to find one of our favourite pods: the T049As (-A2)!

T049A2 Jude and T049C Nielson were spotted travelling north in Stuart Channel. The orcas swam at ease through the water, occasionally diving down before resurfacing. Seeing the orcas in their natural habitat was a humbling and unforgettable experience for all our guests
