June 17th - T46's, T46B, T65's, T75 and T75A

On Monday we had 2 tours!

In the morning we caught up with the T46’s and T46B just south of Saturna Island. These guys were moving pretty quickly through the channel, but were staying near the surface and coming up frequently as they made their way east.

On our afternoon tour we headed first to Entrance Island to visit with some Stellar Sea Lions, before heading south where we found the T65A’s hanging out with Kidney (T75) and Stone (T75A) in the Samson Narrows. Kidney is a grandmother, but her and Stone will often leave their pod to travel with the T65A’s.

The T65’s were very active, leaping out of the water and even showing off some tail slaps while they hunted for an afternoon snack!
